I've had like a thousand different nicknames in my gaming carreer. Usually because something recently is funny, or to use fake team names on publics.
All my clans before .45 were CS clans, so I won't list them. .45 was my first AC clan and will be my last one.
I also won't tell you all my secret nicknames. Because then I couldn't haunt you without being recognized. I could be ANYONE!!! MWAHAHAHAH!

But most of the time I play as .45|para or alike.

And that nickname is old. Might even be older than some of the younger AC players. :)

Reaches back to the time where I first needed a proper nickname to use on a regular basis.
Tried to find out what nickname fits best to me.

Originally it was paradoXon, because I felt like one at that time. And an upper letter X is always the most cool possible thing to have in a name.
Later it turned out, that it was pretty long as a nickname. Clanmates called me para all the time. I got used to it.

Has even more room for interpretation, which suits me well. Paranoid, paradise, paranormal, paradox...and it means "for" in Spanish, like in "for the people".
I like that. But don't try to find a much deeper sense. It's just something to be called, so one can be called differently.

Finally I'd like to say, that I am NOT the para who is playing Cube2. :D

I only use para for "serious" gaming. When I play public somewhere else, I usually am very happy with funnames like "gluegargler" or "stickersniffer"...whatever...

For me Dec0 because my father always call me like that (I dunno why :)
